Velocity data currently being acquired in compressor and turbine test facilities needs to be accompanied by temperature measurement to improve the utilization of the data by numerical modelers and to allow the determination of the heat transfer coefficient and Stanton number from heat flux measurements. There is a plethora of developments and publications with reference to the dynamic response of the very large floating structures, especially pontoon type. Developments on the wave induced response of ships, with particular reference to hydro-elasticity, and the impact related transient responses, slamming and sloshing, are examined.

Applications of organic solid-state lasers. Organic lasers are broadly tunable coherent sources, potentially compact, convenient and manufactured at low-costs. Appeared in the mid 60’s as solid-state alternatives for liquid dye lasers, they recently gained a new dimension after the demonstration of organic semiconductor lasers in the 90's.

The Magnetic Bubble Memory Bubble memory is a type of nonvolatile computer memory that uses a thin film of a magnetic material to hold small magnetized areas, known as bubbles or domains, each of which stores one bit of data. The book provides the newest state-of-the-art knowledge about neuroscience from across the animal kingdom, with particular emphasis on model species commonly used in neuroscience labs across the world: mouse, zebra fish, fruit fly, honeybee, and nematode worm. The goal of this book is to discuss data pointing to the role of adipose tissue.

Define the static terms. Precision: Precision is the degree of closeness with which a given value may be repeatedly measured. Resolution: It is defined as the smallest incremental change in the input that would produce a detectable change in the output.

Linearity: Linearity is a measure of the maximum deviation of the plotted transducer response from a specified straight line. Forrest M.

The Hubble Space Telescope (often referred to as HST or Hubble) is a space telescope that was launched into low Earth orbit in and remains in operation. It was not the first space telescope, but it is one of the largest and most versatile and is well known as both a vital research tool and a public relations boon for Hubble telescope is named after astronomer Edwin Hubble Operator: NASA ESA STScI.

Flotation: In marine technology, flotation can be divided into materials intended for use on the surface and those for use surface flotation, buoys are fabricated out of steel or other metals, molded plastic or plastic foams.

Ionomer foam is a popular material because of its reduced weight and high durability. Underwater, subsea flotation is often needed to achieve neutral.

It draws data out, makes it explicit, literally provides it with an image. It also probes data's constitution, potential, and significance. In the process of working pragmatically with data — using it as a generative resource, a way of making — data art is involved in the culturally crucial figuration of data and its contemporary domain.

The technology is called high resolution manometry. Rather than the old 4 and 8 channels systems of measuring pressure, high resolution employs 36 closely spaced solid state pressure transducers. By using this technology, the resolution of gut motor activity is incredible. This allows for better ways of viewing motility using color as pressure.
